Jenna Fischer's most famous role is that of Pam Beesly in the highly loved television show The Office. Fischer was awarded two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her stellar performance on the comedy's ensemble.
She was born and raised within Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna watched as her mother Anne performed in church plays. Her love for performance and theater was instilled as a little girl.
She is a trained actress who was back in theater following The Office. In Off-Broadway's play Reasons to be Happy composed by Neil LaBute with Josh Hamilton and Leslie Bibb as co-stars, Fischer was a part of. After starring in Steve Martin's latest production Meteor Shower (an absurdist comedy with Greg Germann & Josh Stamberg), she was then invited to appear in the Old Globe Theatre's record-breaking world premiere.
The Office co-star Angela Kinsey and Fischer created Office Ladies, a podcast hosted by Earwolf in October 2019. The podcast has been a huge success, reaching the Top Ten worldwide every week, and receiving more than 200 million downloads within the first two years. Office Ladies, which was first launched in October of 2019 and was awarded the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Month award for the month of January in 2021.
She's also the author of The Actor's Life : A Survival Guide (coauthored with Angela Kinsey) The book tells her tale of relocating between St. Louis to Hollywood as a professional actress is outlined.
